Who we are

This site is run by Spider Web Agency ("we", "us"), based in Pakistan and working with clients internationally. If you have any question about this policy or your information, email hello@spiderwebagency.com.

When you send us an enquiry

The contact form asks for your name, email address, what you are looking for, and a message. When you send it, those details are emailed to our inbox at hello@spiderwebagency.com. We use them only to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to run that project.

We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your details, or share them with anyone outside the team handling your enquiry.

To stop spam, the form also records a one-way scrambled version (a hash) of your IP address and the time you sent it, so that no one can send more than five messages an hour. It cannot be turned back into your IP address and is not linked to your name or message. The form also notes how long the page was open before you pressed send, to catch bots; that number is not stored.

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to reply to you and, if we work together, for the length of that work. After that we may keep them for as long as we have a genuine reason to, such as our business records or answering questions about past work. You can ask us to delete them at any time, and we will, unless we are required to keep them.

When you browse the site

We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any other tracking.

If you switch between the site's colour themes, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there next time. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

A few other services are involved in simply showing you the site:

• Hostinger hosts the site and our email. Like any web host, its servers and content delivery network record basic technical details of each request (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces. Your browser fetches them from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details.

Each of these handles that information under its own privacy policy, and may process it outside your country.

Links to other sites

The bugs in our webs and the portfolio cards link to our clients' own websites. Once you follow one of those links, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@spiderwebagency.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If what the site collects changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
